Day 1 - The Lake District near the Irish Sea
Our first lunch was in Torver at the Wilson Arms. About mid morning Dave, The Wafarers Walk Manager met us where the public footpath crossed a road and took everyone's lunch order. After providing drinks and refreshment he drove ahead and put in our lunch orders for our arrival. We would come to appreciate seeing Dave a great deal during our walk as we racked up the miles and our bodies began to tire. Diane and Randi compare notes prior to lunch while Karen looks on.
